This book aims to showcase Asia’s best practices in sustainable real estate and infrastructure, thereby enhancing the international community's awareness and recognition of Asia’s achievements in ESG best practices. By compiling these best practices into case studies, this book will serve as a valuable reference for global policymakers, experts, and industry participants, fostering the development and implementation of sustainable policies and standards in Asia. The project will collaborate with the academic research of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and the practical experience of GRESB and its stakeholders, integrating theory with practice to drive knowledge innovation in global sustainability governance.

Prof. Jin Sun, Assistant Professor of Sociology, Executive Director of the Social Governance & Sustainable Development Lab, and Deputy Director of the Public Policy Research Center at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He published articles in top journals in sociology, law, and global governance, and received three best article awards from the American Sociological Association.

Ting Zhang is a doctoral candidate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a senior lawyer qualified to practice in Mainland China, the Hong Kong SAR, and California, USA, and admitted to the roll as a solicitor of England and Wales. She was also a visiting fellow at the University of Cambridge.

Paul Yao-Hwa Tang is Chief Representative of Greater China at GRESB, with over 25 years of international experience in real estate, valuation, M&A advisory, and sustainability. He bridges sustainability best practices in Greater China with global markets, advancing sustainable investment, industry standards, and international collaboration.
