Dr. Arunangshu Chakraborty (MBBS, MD) graduated from Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College Kolkata, India; obtained a postgraduate qualification in anesthesiology from Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad, India. He is a senior consultant in the department of anesthesia, critical care, and pain at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, India, which is a tertiary-level oncology center. His areas of interest include regional anesthesia, once-anesthesia, and medical ultrasound. Dr. Chakraborty has several peer-reviewed international publications and delivered many oral presentations at national and international level meetings. He is an executive committee member of the Academy of Regional Anesthesia, India, and scientific secretary of the Kolkata Society of Anesthesia. Dr. Chakraborty is the associate editor of the International Journal of Regional Anesthesia, the Indian Journal of Anesthesia, and the Journal of Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons. He has edited and authored textbooks on ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, point-of-care ultrasound, and Prehabilitation for Cancer Surgery.

Dr. Ashokka Balakrishnan (MBBS MD DNB FANZCA MHPE EDRA) had a fellowship from the Australia New Zealand College of Anesthesiologists (FANZCA) and a master in health professions education from Maastricht, Netherlands. He is a consultant anesthesiologist and simulation program director of the anesthesia division at the National University Hospital, Singapore, and CenMED associate at the Centre for Medical Education (CenMED), National University of Singapore, Singapore. Dr. Balakrishnan is also the director of the master in health professions education program for the Maastricht-Singapore collaboration at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He holds 17 years of experience in high-fidelity simulation-based undergraduate, postgraduate medical, and allied health acute care teaching. His area of interest includes obstetric and regional anesthesia, postgraduate exam support, simulation-based postgraduate and undergraduate education, interprofessional education through acute care simulation, and multidisciplinary team training. Dr. Balakrishnan has conducted international workshops in simulation, airway, and crisis management for acute care practitioners, trauma teams, anesthesiologists, and nursing delegates and hosted medical education faculty development programs in the USA, Taiwan, Philippines, China, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia & India. He is a reviewer of many journals including Medical Education, BMJ Open, the Advances in Health Sciences Education (AHSE), Advances in Simulation, Annals of Medicine Singapore, The Asia Pacific Scholar (TAPS), Nurse Media, and Singapore Medical Journal.
