Dr. Kusum Jashnani completed her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in medicine from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai, India. She was the professor and head of the department of pathology at BYL Nair Ch. Hospital and Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, India. Dr. Jashnani’s interests include gynecologic pathology, placental pathology, bone pathology, cytopathology, and maternal autopsy. She has published many papers in peer-reviewed national and international medical journals. Dr. Jashnani has authored and edited books, including Maternal Mortality: Lessons Learnt from Autopsy and attends various conferences and CMEs (continuing medical education) in India. She has trained several postgraduate students in MD Pathology.
