Hongjun Li, MD, is a Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a second-grade professor, chief physician, doctoral and postdoctoral supervisor, and recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance. He has been awarded the title of “National Distinguished Physician - Outstanding Achievement” in China. He is a professor at Capital Medical University and adjunct professor at Beihang University and Sechenov University, Ministry of Health of Russia. He serves as Chief Expert and Director of the Imaging Center at Beijing You’an Hospital, Capital Medical University; Director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Radiology for Major Infectious Diseases; and Chief Imaging Expert of the National Center for Infectious Diseases Medical Research. A pioneer and founder of international infectious disease radiology, he is a Springer Nature Top 1% author, editor of over 50 Chinese and English monographs, contributor to 26 international and national guidelines/standards, and recipient of 15 major awards.
Wenya Liu is a chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor, recognized as an outstanding expert in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and a distinguished teacher at Xinjiang Medical University. She serves as Director of the Imaging Center at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University and holds multiple leadership roles in regional and national radiology organizations. Wen Shen is a chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor, and serves as Director of the Radiology Department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nankai University. Her research focuses on abdominopelvic imaging and imaging related to organ transplantation. She holds multiple leadership and expert roles in national radiology and medical imaging organizations, contributing to clinical practice, technology, and multidisciplinary collaboration. She has received several major science and technology awards at national and municipal levels. Dr. Shen has edited or co-authored numerous academic works and published over 100 papers. She has also led and participated in more than 10 research projects at national, provincial, and municipal levels, making significant contributions to medical imaging research, education, and clinical advancement.
Jianrong Xu is a chief physician, second-level professor, and doctoral supervisor, and serves as chief expert in radiology at Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He specializes in imaging diagnosis of cardiovascular, abdominal, oncologic, and rheumatic diseases. He holds numerous leadership roles in national and regional medical imaging and radiology organizations, reflecting his broad professional influence. He has been recognized as a leading talent and distinguished academic leader in Shanghai and has received several prestigious professional awards. Dr. Xu has published over 200 papers as first or corresponding author and has led multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His work has earned several major scientific research awards at national and municipal levels, highlighting his significant contributions to medical research and clinical practice.
Professor Sergey Ternovoy, M.D., Ph.D., is Head of the Department of Radiology at the National Centre for Cardiology Research and Head of the Department of Radiology at First Moscow State Medical University, and a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is widely recognized in academic circles and has received numerous honors, including the USSR State Prize for Medicine in 1989, the Government Prize of the Russian Federation in Education in 2011, and the title of Honorary Scientist in 2014. His primary research interests focus on modern digital radiology techniques (CT, MRI, ultrasound, and digital radiology) as well as hybrid imaging techniques, and he is deeply committed to advancing the development and clinical application of medical imaging. His scientific output is notable, with over 650 scholarly articles, 54 monographs, more than 30 patents, and over 35 M.D. and Ph.D. theses under his supervision. He also serves on the editorial boards of several medical journals and is the founder and deputy editor-in-chief of the Russian Journal of Electron Radiology.
Professor Natalya Serova, M.D., Ph.D., is a leading Russian radiologist, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Laureate of the Russian Federation Government Awards in Education. She serves as Professor of Radiology at Sechenov University, Head of Radiology at University Clinical Hospital No. 1, and Chairman of the Expert Council of the Higher Attestation Commission for Therapeutic Sciences. She is also Chief Editor of the Russian Electronic Journal of Radiology. She leads the Russian Federation's Leading Scientific School on non-invasive radiological technologies for socially significant diseases, which won the 2022 Presidential Grant in Medical Sciences. She has authored or co-authored over 500 publications, including 5 monographs, 9 national guidelines, and 17 patents, and serves as Secretary of the Educational and Methodological Commission for Radiological Diagnostics and Therapy of Russian Universities.
