Dr. Sourav Das currently holds the position of an associate professor in the Department of Basic Sciences, in chemistry discipline, at the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM) located in Ahmedabad, India. Dr. Das obtained his master’s degree in 2009 from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, Assam, India, followed by his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. V. Chandrasekhar in 2014. He subsequently joined Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) in South Korea as a postdoctoral fellow, working with Prof. Jaeheung Cho. His research focuses on coordination chemistry, including the synthesis of heterometallic (3d-4f) and homometallic (4f) complexes using multisite coordination ligands. He investigates the magnetic as well as their applications in water oxidation and energy sustainability. He has published more than 75+ peer reviewed international journal articles.
Dr. Ravi Kashikar has been serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Basic Sciences (Physics) at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, since 2024. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida (USF), USA. Prior to joining IITRAM, he held the position of a research assistant professor at USF. His research primarily lies in the field of computational materials science, with a focus on electronic structure and multiferroicity, particularly in organic and inorganic halide perovskites. His theoretical work on the topological insulating properties of hybrid organic materials has been experimentally validated, underscoring the impact of his contributions. He currently serves as a reviewer for journals including Nature Communications and several Physical Review series.
Dr. Junseong Lee earned his Bachelor’s (2001), Master’s (2003), and Ph.D. (2007) degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he was mentored by Prof. Youngkyu Do. After completing his doctoral studies, Dr. Lee continued his research as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah at 2008, working under the guidance of Prof. Peter J. Stang, a former editor-in-chief of Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). Following this, he joined Chonnam National University in 2010, where he has made significant contributions to the academic community as a full professor, and published over 200 papers to date. He received Young Inorganic Chemist Award at 2022 from the Korean Chemical Society. Dr. Lee served as the public relations director at the Korean Chemical Society from 2020 to 2021. He also worked as the associate dean of Planning and Coordinating at Chonnam National University from 2022 to 2025, contributing in shaping the institution’s academic direction and strategies.
