Darshana Shah, PhD, is Professor of Pathology and Senior Associate Dean for the Office of Faculty Advancement at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. She is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Marshall Journal of Medicine, West Virginia’s first peer-reviewed, open-access academic medical journal. An immigrant from India, Dr. Shah has devoted her career to advancing faculty development, mentoring, leadership, and academic excellence. Through her scholarship, service, and institutional leadership, she has championed initiatives that foster professional growth, inclusive leadership, and the success of future generations of healthcare and academic leaders.

Nancy D. Spector, MD, is Distinguished Professor, Department of Pediatrics, and serves at the Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM) as Executive Director of the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM) program, a year-long, national leadership fellowship program for faculty in academic medicine, dentistry, public health, and pharmacy, and as Executive Director of the Executive Leadership in Health Care (ELH) program for leaders in hospital and health care systems. She also serves as Senior Vice Dean for Faculty, the Betty A. Cohen Chair in Women’s Health, and Executive Director of the Lynn Yeakel Institute for Women’s Health and Leadership (IWHL) at DUCOM. 

Jennifer L. Allie, PhD, MPA, is Vice Dean for Faculty and Graduate Programs and Professor of Medical Education at the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University. She earned her degrees in educational leadership and policy from the University of Utah. Dr. Allie has held senior leadership roles in academic medicine, including Associate and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. Her expertise spans faculty development, leadership, and medical education innovation. Her scholarship focuses on faculty affairs, professional development, and advancing faculty vitality, inclusive excellence, and leadership in healthcare and higher education.
