Avijit Mistri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, School of Human and Environmental Sciences, Manipur University, Imphal, India. His research interests are environmental migration, labour migration, tribal migration and ethnopolitical issues. He has authored and edited 03 books and published 30 articles and 17 book chapters in reputed national and international journals/publishers on migration, public health, and development issues.

Dipika Subba is an Assistant Professor at Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, West Bengal, India, with over 9 years of experience in teaching and research in Geography, with a focus on population studies. She holds a Master's, MPhil, and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, with a specialisation in population studies. Her academic and research work primarily focuses on maternal and child health, morbidity patterns, gender studies, gender-based violence, and health program evaluation, with a particular and sustained emphasis on tribal communities. Her research on tribal populations explores critical issues such as health disparities, nutritional challenges, access to healthcare services, and the socio-cultural factors influencing health outcomes, aiming to contribute to inclusive and culturally sensitive policy development. She completed a Minor Research Project funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Government of India, in 2021, and is currently leading a Major Research Project (2023–2025), also funded by ICSSR, focusing on tribal health and development. She has presented papers at national and international conferences and published in several reputed journals, contributing significantly to the fields of public health, gender, and tribal studies.

Nasrin Banu is completed her M.A. (Geography) in 2009 and Ph.D. in 2015 from the Department of Geography, Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh, India. She is currently engaged in teaching and research in the Department of Geography, Aliah University, Kolkata, West Bengal, India since 2017. She also joined as Assistant Professor and HoD at Department of Geography, Saltora Netaji Centenary College, University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India.  Dr. Banu was a Guest Faculty in Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh, India.  Her area of research includes livelihood, health and gender issues. She was adjudged as Young Geographer by Institute of Indian Geographers (Pune) in International Conference, 2016. She also received Prof. N.P. Aiyyar Young Geographers Award at the 43rd Indian Geography Congress (NAGI) in 2021. She was also awarded Post-Doctoral Fellowship by UGC in 2015. She has completed one Minor Research Project sponsored by ICSSR, MoHRD, New Delhi, India and one Major Research Project (ICSSR) is going on. She has published 17 research papers in different peer-reviewed national and international journals and edited books. She published a book from Springer International Publishing AG, Switzerland.   

Rabiul Ansary completed his M.A. (Geography), M.Phil,  and Ph.D from Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in the area of Population studies India. He is currently engaged in teaching and research in the Department of Geography, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, India since 2022. Prior to his current position, he worked as UNICEF state consultant (Social Project) in Chhattisgarh, India. He also worked as Assistant Professor at Regional Institute of Education-BBSR (NCERT) under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. His boarder area of training and research is in Human Geography (Migration, Livelihood and population and development). He has extensive Research/teaching experiences both international and national level. He is a recipient of IUSSP, World Social Science Forum and World Bank travel grants to present his research findings among the global audience in countries like USA, Brazil, Russia and South Africa. He has published 17 research papers in different peer-reviewed national and international journals and edited books. He also has technical skills in SPSS, STATA and Arch-GIS.
