Sadiq Ahmad is currently serving as faculty in the Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Cantt., Pakistan. He obtained his MS and Ph.D. degrees both in Power Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Cantt, in 2014 and 2020, respectively. He obtained his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan in 2009. He won the best research paper award (2015) under the patronage of the Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan. His research interests include privacy preservation in smart meter, blockchain in smart grid, digital twin technology for smart grid, security and privacy issues in smart grid, cognitive radio networks, energy efficiency, green energy generation, resource optimization in power system engineering, control and optimization of microgrids/smart grids and optimization issues in power systems and smart grid. He published more than 60 research articles including peer reviewed journals, conferences and Book Chapters. He is a reviewer of renowned international journals, such as IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, Applied Energy, Energies, Wiley International Transaction on Electrical Energy System, Journal of Building Engineering, Computers & Electrical Engineering and Energy & Building.

Muhammad Naeem received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, in 2000 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada, in 2011. From 2000 to 2005, he was a Senior Design Engineer with Comcept (Pvt) Ltd., Islamabad, Pakistan, where he participated in the design and development of smart card-based GSM and CDMA pay phones with the Department of Design. From 2012 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Wireless Networks and Communications Research (WINCORE) Laboratory, at Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada. Currently, he is a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Wah Campus, Wah, Pakistan. He is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer. His research interests include the optimization of wireless communication systems, non-convex optimization, resource allocation in cognitive radio networks, and approximation algorithms for mixed integer programming in communication systems. He was a recipient of the NSERC CGS Scholarship.
