The transition to renewable energy, including biofuels, offers a critical solution to mitigate these impacts. By reducing reliance on fossil fuels, we can help slow the progression of climate change. In the past, renewables were seen as costly, but advancements in clean energy technology are making them more affordable. This cost reduction is accelerating the global shift towards renewable energy, promoting sustainable economic growth, and reducing environmental harm caused by fossil fuel dependency. The future of energy lies in harnessing these renewable resources.

Dr. Soufiane Haddout is a leading researcher in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Sciences at Ibn Tofail University, Morocco, specializing in estuarine systems. His work focuses on sediment dynamics, microplastics, heavy metals, water quality, estuarine modeling, and renewable enengery. He has authored over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles (first author on 40), published five books, and has one book in press. He is also leading three accepted book proposals with Taylor & Francis as editor or author:

  • Celebrating Famous Women in Estuarine Science (Editor)
  • Handbook of AI in Water Management: Towards Net Zero Emissions (Editor)
  • Advanced Hydraulic Engineering: Applications and Optimization (Author)

Dr. Haddout collaborates with over 30 international institutions across the USA, UK, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, India, and others. He reviews projects for global universities and is an expert reviewer with AEIC (China). His academic recognition includes over 200 certificates from major conferences and journals.

Prof. Dr. Tri Retnaningsih Soeprobowati is an esteemed environmental scientist at Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia, and the founder of the Cluster for Paleolimnology (CPalim). She is widely recognized for her expertise in mangrove ecosystems, biodiversity, and conservation. Her research focuses on the ecological and socio-economic aspects of mangrove forests, climate change impacts, and sustainable resource management. She has led national and international collaborations, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and presented at global conferences. In addition to her academic work, she is dedicated to mentoring young researchers and engaging with local communities to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. Her leadership and scientific contributions make her a prominent figure in coastal and marine conservation.
