This edited book aims to redefine and reshape the landscape of doctoral education to ensure equity, accessibility and transformative impact on the future of scientific and academic practices. It examines the nexus of relational pedagogy, transformative learning and inclusive practices as a means of advancing effective doctoral supervision that transcends the conventional knowledge transmission model and challenges the perpetuation of segregative academic practices. Chapters address a diverse range of experiences of doctoral students and supervisors, including those from underrepresented backgrounds, and provide practical strategies for fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that meets the unique needs of each individual.
