This fully revised 4th edition has been restructured into two complementary volumes, with this book dedicated exclusively to the pathophysiology of vascular disease. It offers a clear, authoritative exploration of the mechanisms underlying the vascular conditions encountered in surgical practice, while also outlining the core principles that inform assessment and management. Many of these topics are rarely covered in depth in standard clinical textbooks, making this volume an essential resource for vascular surgery trainees, practising surgeons, medical students, and early‑stage surgical trainees.
