His work has focused on industrial applications of thermodynamics in global industrial settings. He has taught engineering courses at the university level in Canada, and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta (2007) and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University (2000).
