Synergizing Management, Culture, and Arts for Tourism Development - Vol. 1

Vicky Katsoni

Business & Economics / Industries / Hospitality, Travel & Tourism

This book features the first volume of the proceedings of the 12th International Conference of the International Association of Cultural and Digital Tourism (IACuDiT) with the theme "Management, Culture and Arts Synergies for Future Innovative Tourism Development," which took place in Corfu, Greece, from September 2–4, 2025. It presents the latest research on the synergies between management, culture, and the arts for innovative tourism development, while fostering critical academic discourse on the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) across the tourism sector.
Volume 1 presents a forward-looking examination of two fundamental dimensions shaping the future of tourism, structured around the following parts:
I. Sustainable and Regenerative Tourism Development
II. Tourism, Technology, and Digital Transformation
Together, these contributions demonstrate how sustainability and digital transformation are redefining tourism development and destination management. By exploring regenerative approaches alongside technological innovation, the volume highlights pathways toward more resilient, responsible, and future-oriented tourism systems. It provides valuable insights for researchers, students, policymakers, and industry professionals seeking to understand the evolving relationship between sustainability, technology, and tourism.
