Agri-Chain Innovation: Leveraging Blockchain for Sustainable Food Systems is intended as a useful resource for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers interested in the intersection of blockchain technology and the agri-food sector. It provides a clear and accessible overview of how this transformative technology can be used to improve various aspects of agri-food systems, from supply chain management to food safety and sustainability. Blockchain technology, known for its secure and transparent ledger system, holds significant potential to revolutionize the agri-food sector by ensuring traceability, enhancing transparency, reducing fraud, and optimizing supply chains. This book explores these opportunities in depth, offering readers practical insights and detailed case studies for implementing blockchain solutions in real-world agri-food contexts. It is designed for a diverse audience, including academic researchers in food science and agriculture, agribusiness professionals, blockchain developers, and policymakers.
