Integrate data engineering and blockchain to advance B5G and 6G networks

B5G and 6G network architectures require robust data infrastructure paired with decentralized trust mechanisms. Data Engineering and Blockchain for Telecommunications: An Overview with Applications and Case Studies presents an interdisciplinary framework uniting data engineering pipelines with blockchain technologies. Emphasizing how these systems complement each other, the book delivers practical theory implementation and hands-on examples grounded in real telecommunications scenarios.

The text details data connection, ingestion, processing, and monitoring alongside data offloading and On-Chain Validation. Application chapters address Spectrum Trading, Network Slicing, AI/ML-driven scaling of Digital Twin Services, and Log Management. Coverage extends to emerging B5G/6G trends, examining how blockchain, AI, IoT, and multiaccess edge computing converge within hyper-connected network architectures.

Readers will also find:

  • Detailed analysis of decentralized validation mechanisms that strengthen data integrity across distributed telecommunications network infrastructure deployments
  • Practical case studies demonstrating blockchain deployment scenarios within next-generation wireless network environments and service delivery platforms
  • Coverage of federated learning and explainable AI techniques applied to network softwarization and security in telecom systems
  • Exploration of multiaccess edge computing architectures integrated with blockchain-based data pipelines designed for low-latency applications
  • Forward-looking discussion of technology convergence roadmaps preparing telecommunications operators for the transition beyond current 5G networks

Designed for telecommunications engineers, operators, data engineers, and IT security professionals, this book provides the technical depth required to implement integrated data engineering and blockchain solutions in next-generation networks. Graduate students and researchers in advanced telecommunications and blockchain applications will find it directly applicable to their work.
