This book investigates how women farmers in Mali exercise agency and achieve empowerment through participation in agricultural cooperatives. It examines the impact of collective engagement on women's access to essential agricultural resources-land, credit, seeds, fertilizers, training, and markets-while addressing structural and cultural barriers. By highlighting women's voices and experiences, the book reveals how cooperatives serve as platforms for negotiation, resource sharing, and social transformation, ultimately contributing to gender equity and sustainable rural development.
