He is a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). His research fields include legal history, comparative law, constitutional law and legal education.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\r\nHis scholarly work includes over 40 papers published in both Chinese and English academic journals. He is the translator of the book \u003cem\u003eGoodbye, Montesquieu: The New Separation of Powers \u003c\/em\u003e(China University of Political Science \u0026amp; Law Press, 2016).\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eProfessor Nie was recognized as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists in 2020. He is also a leading talent in philosophy and social sciences under the “National Talents Program”. He is the Executive Director of the Chinese Legal History Research Association and the Secretary-General of the Basic Law Research Association.
