Liu Zehong is a leading expert in high-voltage power technology and project engineering. Previously served as the Executive Vice President of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), he is now the Executive Vice Chairman of Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO). He has long been dedicated to the R&D of Extra/Ultra High Voltage (EHV/UHV) transmission technology and equipment, presided over the construction of dozens of EHV/UHV transmission projects. Mr. Liu is the recipient of the 2017 IEEE PES Uno Lamm HVDC Award and the 14th Guanghua Engineering S&T Prize of China.
