With an extensive academic and leadership background, Dr. Mubarik has held key positions, including Professor and Dean of the College of Business Management at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi. He also serves as the President of the Karachi Chapter of The Association of Management Development Institutions in Pakistan (AMDIP). His research interests span both behavioural and technological dimensions of supply chains, with a strong focus on intellectual capital, sustainability, and digital transformation. His work explores the role of supply chain mapping and digital twin technologies in enhancing the triple bottom line (economic, environmental, and social sustainability) of supply chains. Dr. Mubarik’s research has been published in leading journals, including Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Production Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Business Strategy and the Environment, among others. He has authored three books and edited two books and has served as a Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI on multiple research projects funded by various agencies.
