Dr Tan Sing Pei is Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at the Tun Tan Cheng Lock Institute of Social Studies, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Tasmania. Her research focuses on Malaysian politics and comparative Southeast Asian politics, with particular interests in electoral politics, political parties, governance, and regional political dynamics.
