This book presents innovative nanotechnology based strategies for cancer therapy, addressing the urgent need for novel treatments amid rising global cancer cases. It systematically reviews 13 cutting edge approaches, including photodynamic, photothermal, and sonodynamic therapies, nanomicroneedle technology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine based nanotechnology, etc.. while clarifying their theoretical foundations and applications. By integrating interdisciplinary research in nanomedicine, the book offers readers a comprehensive understanding of cancer treatment methods and their transformative potential compared to conventional therapies. This can be used by graduate students, researchers, R&D engineers, and clinicians seeking to apply nanotechnology in oncology.
Maoquan Chu was born in Anhui Province, China. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in 2001.
