Reşat ARICA completed his masters degree (2013) and doctorate degree (2017) at Anadolu University, Department of Tourism Management. He was entitled to receive the title of Associate Professor in the Field of Tourism Science in 2021. Arıca, currently works as an associate professor at Batman University, Faculty of Tourism. Arıca is the Deputy Dean and Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department at Batman University Faculty of Tourism. His main research areas are sustainable tourism, tourism marketing, value co-production and social media. He has an expert role in EU and Development Agency projects, project consultancy and referee duties at TÜBİTAK.
