His team achieved dynamic remote sensing monitoring of rare wild Chinese medicine resources and developed five models of resource protection. The new method for identifying traditional Chinese medicine he established won the Chinese Patent Excellence Award and achieved significant social and economic benefits. It has been included in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, marking the first inclusion of a molecular identification method in the national Pharmacopoeia.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eLanping Guo, The principal investigator，Director of the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica; Director of the State Key Laboratory for Quality Ensurance and Sustainable Use of Dao-di Herbs; and Director of the Key Laboratory of Biology and Cultivation of Chinese Medicinal Plants, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.Her research focuses on the authenticity and quality assurance of Chinese medicinal materials, with a primary emphasis on ecological cultivation of medicinal plants. She was among the first both domestically and internationally to propose the concept and theory of ecological agriculture for Chinese medicinal materials, and initiated the Declaration on Ecological Agriculture for Chinese Medicinal Materials, leading her team to implement it nationwide.She has won three National Science and Technology Progress Second PrizeS and twelve First Prizes at the provincial or ministerial level.
