He has accumulated approximately RM1 million in research grants and published several articles in reputable journals. Meanwhile, he has been a reviewer for several renowned journals and conferences. Currently, he is a member of The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (MRISM) and an editorial board member of Sustainability in Design and Practice (SDP). Furthermore, he actively involves himself in consultation projects such as building condition assessments. She has been actively involved in teaching, research, consultancy, and professional training. She is a member of the Building Surveying Division of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and a certified Building Information Modelling for Facilities Management (BIMFM) Trainer accredited by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia. Dr. Elyna has successfully secured and managed international and national research grants exceeding RM1.1 million. Her research focuses on facilities management, BIM-enabled facilities management, maintenance management, performance measurement, sustainable built environments, and the role of public facilities as temporary relief centres.
