This book serves as an interdisciplinary platform for sharing cutting-edge knowledge and practical insights, intended for senior researchers and graduate students working on high-performance computing architectures, distributed machine learning systems, and large-scale data engineering. This book documents the intellectual exchanges from the 6th International Conference on High Performance Big Data and Intelligent Systems (HDIS 2025), held from 23 to 25 January 2026 in Wuxi, China. This book covers key topics including high-performance computing technology and its applications, big data technology and its application, intelligent technology and its applications, among others.
Pengqiang Qian has published more than 100 high-level papers in domestic and foreign journals/conferences (including more than 20 papers in IEEE/ACM Transactions). As the PI, he has investigated three projects of NSFC (two general and one youth), one NIH fund R01 project (Co-PI, the Chinese side), one sub-project of national blockchain innovation and application pilot, one general project of NSF of Jiangsu, three projects of Jiangsu high-level talents, one science and technology demonstration project of social development of Wuxi, and the others sponsored by governments or cooperative enterprises. He has been granted more than 10 patents (PCT and Chinese invention). He has won one provincial-level teaching achievement award and two ministerial-level science and technology progress awards. He was Research Scholar at School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, the USA, from 2013 to 2014. He is currently Members of several international journal editorial boards and international conference committees.
Liping Zhang received her Ph.D. from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018. She is currently Associate Research Fellow with the AnnLab, Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Her research interests include point cloud processing, 3D human modeling, and computer vision. She serves as Editor for Elsevier's journal Data in Brief. Her Google Scholar total citation reached 2000+, with an H-index of 20. She has published more than 40 papers in journals and refereed conferences. She was Session Chair of IEEE HPBD&IS 2020 and Website Chair of HDIS 2022. She is currently Member of IEEE.
