After that, he moved to the Museum of natural and environmental history, Shizuoka and dedicated much on researches and curation. He came back to Tohoku University in March 2020. His research interests are: geological records of paleotsunamis and numerical modeling of sediment transport. After that, he moved to the Museum of natural and environmental history, Shizuoka and dedicated much on researches and curation. He came back to Waseda University in April 2020. His research interests are paleo environmental variability reconstruction using lacustrine annual laminated (varved) sediments in mid- and low latitude areas.
