He holds a PhD from IIT Bombay. He has received prestigious fellowships including JSPS (AIST Japan), BK21 (Seoul National University), and NRF (University of Cape Town), recognizing his global leadership. At NIT Manipur, he has served in key roles such as Dean Academic, HOD Physics, and IIC President, shaping both research and education.
