Energy Management for Sustainability

Fundamental Principles and Emerging Technologies

Chaouki Ghenai

Technology & Engineering / Power Resources / Electrical

This book digs into the complexities of energy management and provides a comprehensive guide to comprehending and putting sustainable activities into practice. The gap between fundamental energy concepts and the most recent technological developments that are transforming the global energy scene is bridged by this development. This book provides readers with the tools necessary to address the issues of energy management in the 21st century by integrating theoretical ideas with applications that are in the real world.

Dr. Chaouki Ghenai is a Professor at the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering Department, College of Engineering; Director of the Renewable Energy Laboratory, Research Institute for Sciences and Engineering; Chair of the Energy and Climate Change, Sustainability Office; and Director of Strategic Partnerships Office, Chancellor Office. Dr. Ghenai is a Senior Fellow for Energy Strategy and Policy, New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, Washington DC, USA. Dr. Ghenai was listed in the world’s top 2% Scientists in Energy (career and single year) – Mechanical Engineering & Transport (Enabling & Strategic Technologies). Dr. Ghenai received his PhD and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Orleans University, Orleans, France, and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Constantine University, Constantine, Algeria.
