He has been an elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering since 1995. He is now the Honorary President of State Grid Electric Power Research Institute (SGEPRI or NARI), China, Adjunct Professor in dozens of universities in China and a conjoint professor of the University of Newcastle in Australia. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Automation of Electric Power System and of Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, as well as Chairman of the Technical Committee of Chinese National Committee of CIGRE since 2005. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eYuping Zheng received a B.S. degree from Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China in 1983, an M.S. degree from the Nanjing Electric Power Automation Research Institute, Nanjing, China in 1986, and a Ph.D. degree from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China in 2004. He is currently with the NARI Group Corporation (State Grid Electric Power Research Institute) and is an adjunct professor at Hohai University. His research interests include power system protection and control.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eAntonio Gomez-Exposito obtained his PhD from the University of Seville in 1985. He is the Endesa Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Seville and served as the Department Dean for 12 years. Additionally, Professor Gomez-Exposito is a Life Fellow of the IEEE and the recipient of the IEEE\/PES Outstanding Power Engineering Educator Award in 2019. With over 40 years of research in the field of power systems, his primary research areas include power system operation control, state estimation, digital signal processing, and the control of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices. To date, he has published more than 350 research papers, with 140 of them in high-impact journals.
