Technology & Engineering / Aeronautics & Astronautics

This book presents peer-reviewed papers from the 2025 Asia-Pacific International Symposium on Aerospace Technology (APISAT 2025) held at Seoul Olympic Parktel, South Korea, 2025. It treats the recent advances in aeronautical and space engineering. The subtopics of this book are aerodynamics and design, dynamics/control/aviation, structures and materials, combustion and propulsion, space science and applications, and system engineering. This book is a good reference for researchers and professional working in the area of aerospace engineering.

Professor Jinyoung Suk received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University in 1998. His areas of expertise are Flight Dynamics and Control. He is currently a vice president of KSAS.

Professor Seungkeun Kim received B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. He is currently a professor at Department of Aerospace Engineering, Chungnam National University, Daejeon, Korea. Previously, he was a lecturer in Cooperative Control and Estimation at Autonomous Systems Group in Cranfield University between December 2010 and February 2012 and worked as a Research Fellow at Cranfield University between April 2008 and December 2010. His research interests cover nonlinear guidance and control, estimation, sensor and information fusion, fault diagnosis, fault tolerant control, and decision making for unmanned systems.

Professor Jae Hyuk Lim received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from KAIST in 2006. His areas of expertise are space mobility, digital twins for aerospace systems, and deployable structures. He is currently an associate editor of the International Journal of Aeronautics and Space Sciences.
