Dr. Khare received a PhD in tropical marine regions and holds a Doctor of Science degree in Southern High-latitude marine regions with environmental\/climatic implications. He has been conferred Honorary Professorship and Adjunct Professorship by many Indian Universities, and has an extensive list of publications in both National and International journals. Dr. Khare is the recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi National Award 2013 and Rajbhasha Gaurav Puraskar 2022, conferred by the Honourable President of India and Honourable Union Home Minister. His other accolades include ISCA Young Scientist Award, BOYSCAST Fellowship, CIES French Fellowship, Krishnan Gold Medal, Eminent Scientist Award, ISCA Platinum Jubilee Lecture, IGU Fellowship, Prof S.N.
