Dr. Dongxing Yu is an Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Education for Sustainable Development at Sanda University, China. He founded the Virtual Reality (VR) Education Lab at the University. Dr. Yu obtained his PhD in Chinese International Education from East China Normal University and has over 10 years of experience in teaching Chinese language, culture, and linguistics. He has published widely in academic journals and books. He has also been a visiting scholar at universities in Canada, Denmark, Germany, and the United States. Dr. Yu specializes in online education, VR technology, and artificial intelligence applications in education, and has received numerous awards and prizes for his research and teaching innovations. He has led the development of several pioneering educational platforms, including the Sanda AI Metaverse Virtual Teaching System, VR Calligraphy Paradise, Zhixue Chinese AI, and the International Chinese Education Metaverse.
