Of particular interest is that a general framework\nfor analyzing group-theoretic aspects and singularities of\nsymplectic maps      (particularly period-q points) is presented.\nTopics include: bifurcations   when the symplectic map has\nspatial symmetry and a theory for the collision of\nmultipliers near rational points with and without spatial\nsymmetry.  The monograph also includes 11 self-contained\nappendices each with a basic  result on symplectic maps.
