The theoryof error-correcting\ncodes deals with the transmission of information in     the\npresence of noise. Coding is the systematic use of\nredundancy in theformation of the messages to be sent so as\nto enable the recovery of the    information present originally\nafter it has been corrupted by (not too much)noise.\nComputer algebra is devoted to the investigation of\nalgorithms,  computational methods, software systems and\ncomputer languages, oriented to scientific computations\nperformed on exact and often symbolic data, by      manipulating\nformal expressions by means of the algebraic rules             they\nsatisfy.
