Another property of MOSIX is the ability\nto scale up the system  configuration to encompass a large\nnumber of computers. The development of  MOSIX was begun in\n1981. The book is intended primarily for readers who     are\ninterested in distributed and multiprocessor systems. The\nreader is assumed to have some knowledge in programming and\noperating systems,        preferably UNIX.
