The   research on the new\nsubstances has increasingly contributed to the progress of\nmaterials science.\nIn volume III\/21 the reported data on             superconducting\nmaterials, from the discovery of this phenomenon to         the\npresent days of intensive research on high-Tc\nsuperconductors, are  compiled. The data comprise various\nmodifications of a material, e.g. bulk  state, thin films,\nimplanted or filamentary wires. Where available,         data\nobtained under high presure or after high energy                       particle\nirradiation are also tabulated. A particular effort was made\ntopresent not only the superconducting data for a given\nsubstance, but also   the complete characterization of the\nanalyzed samples. This characterizationcomprises the\nmetallurgical and the crystallographical analysis as well     as\nthe analysis of other physical properties.\nThe goal of the volume is to establish a complete and\nreliable compilation of critically reviewed     experimental\ndata, excluding purely theoretical works.\nThe large amount of publications, more than 40.000 since\n1913, requires a subdivision of the data in several\nsubvolumes, the second of which is presented herewith.
