This\nproblem consists in finding a (dynamic) state feedback for a\ngiven control system with two kinds of inputs,         viz.\ncontrolled inputs and (uncontrolled) disturbances such that\nafter  application of this feedback the outputs are not\ninfluenced by the          disturbances and the resulting internal\ndynamics are locally exponentially  stable. In case only\nstatic state feedback is allowed two essentially       different\nsolutions are obtained, viz. a fundamental one and a              more\nproblem-oriented one. Both methods generalize well-known\nsolutions for linear systems. In the last chapter a solution\nis found in case dynamic state feedback is allowed. Here a\ntypical nonlinear phenomenon is pointed   out, namely that\nthere exist nonlinear systems for which the                disturbance\ndecoupling problem (with stability) can be solved               by\napplying dynamic feedback, but not by using static feedback.\nThe bookis intended for researchers in mathematical\nnonlinear systems theory.       Geometric techniques play a key\nrole in the book.
