He has been a regular invited speaker at the ISS Annual Refresher Course and European Society of Skeletal Society (ESSR) Annual Congress for nearly 2 decades, and ran the ISS regional outreach program in Asia for 13 years. He was also Founding President of the Asian Musculoskeletal Society. He has received awards from the Singapore Medical Association, Indonesian Society of Radiology, Royal Belgian Society of Radiology, Japanese Society of Musculoskeleletal Society and Musculoskeletal Society of India.
