Their complexity\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecomes not only from involved technical and organizational structures but mainly from\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecomplexity of information processes that must be implemented in specific operational\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eenvironment (data processing, monitoring, management, etc.). In such a case traditional\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emethods of reliability evaluation focused mainly on technical levels are insufficient and\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emore innovative, multidisciplinary methods of dependability analysis must be applied.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSelection of submissions for these proceedings exemplify diversity of topics that must\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebe included in such analyses: tools, methodologies and standards for modelling,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003edesign and simulation of the systems, security and confidentiality in information\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eprocessing, specific issues of heterogeneous, today often wireless, computer networks,\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eor management of transportation networks.
