His areas of  research include materials and device engineering of thin film materials for displays, laser processing techniques for use in flexible display fabrication and more recently the use of 3D immersive environments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMark Fihn currently heads his own consulting company called VeritaVis, where he supports the display industry based on his expertise related to notebook PCs, Tablet PCs, touch technologies, the LCD TV market and display related human factors, including high resolution and wide aspect ratios.
