This book presents the latest findings in the areas of data management and smart computing, big data management, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, along with advances in network technologies. The book is a collection of peer-reviewed research papers presented at 10th International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovation (ICDMAI 2026), held during 9–11 January 2026 at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, India. It addresses state-of-the-art topics and discusses challenges and solutions for future development. Gathering original, unpublished contributions by scientists from around the globe, the book is mainly intended for a professional audience of researchers and practitioners in academia and industry. The book is divided into two volumes.

Dr. Saptarsi Goswami is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Bangabasi Morning College, University of Calcutta. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication from NIT Jaipur, an M.Tech. (2nd Rank) and a Ph.D. (2018) in Machine Learning and Feature Selection from the University of Calcutta. With over 20 years of combined industry and academic experience, including roles at Tata Infotech, PwC, and Cognizant, he is also a visiting faculty at the A.K. Choudhury School of IT, University of Calcutta. He has 90+ research publications, over 2200 citations, and an H-index of 21.
 
Dr. Kanad Priya Basu is the founder and principal scientist at ArrowsUP LLP and a professor of Practice at the USC Marshall School of Business. He previously served as the director, Global Business Analytics & Leadership Development, Thunderbird Executive Program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Phoenix, Arizona. He holds an M.S. in Mathematical Sciences from The University of Texas–Pan American and a Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of South Carolina. With over 17 years of experience in data science and artificial intelligence, he specializes in leveraging large language models (LLMs) for applications including OCR, topic modeling, sentiment analysis, and product development.
 
Prof. (Dr.) Yumnam Jayanta Singh received his M.Sc. (2000) and Ph.D. (2004) in Computer Science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Maharashtra. With over 21 years of post-doctoral experience, he has combined expertise in research, teaching, and software development. He served as Executive Director, NIELIT Imphal (under MeitY, Govt. of India), and earlier as Director/Executive Director at NIELIT centers in Guwahati, Shillong, Kolkata, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, and Sikkim. He has over 80 research publications, developed and taught postgraduate courses, and executed multiple R&D projects. His research covers cloud computing, blockchain, data warehousing, and digital image processing.
 
Prof. Amlan Chakrabarti is a professor and the director at the A.K.C.S.I.T., University of Calcutta. He received his M.Tech. from the University of Calcutta, conducted doctoral research at the ISI, Kolkata, and was a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University (2011–2012). His awards include the DST BOYSCAST Fellowship (2011), INSA Visiting Scientist Fellowship (2014), and JSPS Invitation Research Award (2016). He leads the ALICE-India project at CERN and is a key member of the CBM-FAIR project in Germany. With ~200 publications and supervision of many Ph.D. graduates, he is an associate editor of Elsevier’s Computers and Electrical Engineering, Series Editor of two Springer series, and Guest Editor of Applied Sciences.
 
Prof. Amol C. Goje is the president of the S4DS and Ph.D. guide at Savitribai Phule Pune University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2003) and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. He served as the director of VIIT, Baramati, Pune, for 19 years and has over 25 years of ICT experience, focusing on rural and underprivileged communities. He pioneered the Computer Mobile Van, earning the Ashoka Fellow award (2002). He has authored over 80 research publications in national and international forums.
 
Dr. Surupa Chakraborty (Roy) is working as an associate professor in the Department of Statistics, in St Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, India. She has 20 years of experience in teaching and research. She completed her Ph.D. from Calcutta University in the year 2005. Her research topic was “Measurement Error Models: Some Related Inference problems.” She has published several research papers in refereed journals, and her research interests include count and ordinal data, measurement error/classification error, group testing, missing data, and survey sampling.
