He started mid-1980s at the Ospedali Riuniti of Bergamo, now Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital. Alongside clinical work, he has been researcher at the Mario Negri Institute in Milan, Visiting Professor at the University of Geneva, and co-founder of the GISED Study Center in 2002, focused on clinical-epidemiological research in dermatology. He is Honorary Member of the Société Française de Dermatologie, and Past President of the European Dermato-Epidemiology Network (EDEN). His research contributed to identifying avoidable risk factors for psoriasis and other chronic inflammatory diseases, such as atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, and lichen planus. His areas of research also cover severe drug reactions affecting the skin, particularly in complex settings like organ transplants, oncology, and rheumatology. Prof. Naldi’s work extends to clinical pharmacology and evidence-based treatments, especially in psoriasis. He has been publishing extensively and contributing to media outlets.
