Waqar Ahmed is Emeritus Professor of Nanotechnology at the University of Lincoln, UK. He has published extensively in nanotechnology, surface engineering, and biomedical devices and co-founded three international journals. His leadership roles include Director of Research, Director of Enterprise, and Head of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Bioengineering. He has held visiting chairs internationally and led research and impact activities across seven REF units. His expertise combines advanced materials science with research strategy, impact planning, and global rankings.

Basem Shomar is Lead Research Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Membranes and Water Security, KFUPM. His research spans hydrogeochemistry, desalination, wastewater reuse, and environmental health. He previously held research leadership roles at Qatar Foundation and Qatar University, led multi-institutional water-security projects, and advised ministries on desalination and environmental impact. His work contributes to UN SDGs and innovation in sustainable water systems.

Israr Ul Hassan is Professor of Chemistry and Project Director at Dhofar University, Oman. His research covers thin films, nanomaterials, sensors, and hydrogen production, with more than 78 indexed publications. He previously served as Dean of Engineering and Director of Research, leading quality assurance and programme accreditation. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Principal Fellow of Advance HE (PFHEA), and holds multiple chartered statuses. He has a PhD in Chemical Vapour Deposition and an MBA.

Salah Al-Majeed is Dean of the College of Engineering at the American University of Iraq and Founding President of the Global Institute for Excellence in Education. His research spans intelligent health ecosystems, secure connectivity, and transformative learning technologies, applying AI, IoT, and advanced communications. He has led projects in brain-signal diagnostics, drone detection, telemedicine, sensor networks, and social care technologies, generating impact through NHS Trusts, local authorities, and policy frameworks. A Principal Fellow of Advance HE, Fellow of the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange, and Senior Member of IEEE, he has led REF submissions, supervised doctoral researchers internationally, developed research networks, and directed knowledge transfer partnerships.

Abdelbary Elhissi is Professor of Pharmaceutics and Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Qatar University. His research focuses on nanomedicine and pulmonary drug delivery, particularly liposomal and proliposomal systems. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers and 35 book chapters, achieved an h-index of 40, and been recognised among the world's top 2% of scientists. His UK experience spans academia and industry, including Lipoxen Technologies. At Qatar University, he founded the Research Excellence Office and has led research planning to strengthen institutional visibility and impact.
