This book covers a wide range of problems across various fields, including general logic, non-classical logic, the square and other geometrical figures of opposition, philosophy and history of logic, as well as the cultural patterns of thought and the rational or irrational features of love.

The volume offers insights that will be of interest to all students and researchers interested in the nature and future of logic.

Ioannis Vandoulakis holds a PhD from Moscow Lomonosov State University and is a founding member of the “Semiotics of Logic and Reasoning” Research Group. He has held research and teaching positions at institutions including the Russian Academy of Sciences, CNRS (Paris), and universities in Greece, Cyprus, and others across Europe and Brazil. He serves on editorial boards of international journals and is Vice President of the Logica Universalis Association. He previously held a research position at Uzhhorod State University in Ukraine and is currently the Chief Information Officer at Metropolitan Telecommunications in New York. He is a prominent figure in mathematical logic, with a career spanning Soviet-era academia and a leadership role in the technology sector in the United States. He is known for his profound contributions to non-classical logic, particularly the algebraic study of logical systems, with a special emphasis on Heyting algebras, intermediate and modal logics, admissible rules, and characteristic formulas. His work bridges algebra, logic, and the history of logic, and continues to exert a significant influence on the study of admissibility, characteristic formulas, and algebraic semantics.

Tatiana Denisova holds a PhD from Novosibirsk State Technical University.
