The Asian Yearbook of International Economic Law (AYIEL) 2025 addresses the rapidly evolving field of international economic law with a special focus on Asia and the Pacific. With the rapidly changing geopolitical situation, protectionist measures have been taken by many countries, which has caused significant impact on international economic governance. Given the importance of Asia and the Pacific, it is necessary to study on trade protectionism and its impacts especially from a regional perspective.

Andrea K. Bjorklund is the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies, as well as a Full Professor and the L. Yves Fortier Chair in International Arbitration and International Commercial Law, at McGill University Faculty of Law. 

Marc Bungenberg is Director of the Europa-Institut and a professor of public law, European law and public international law at Saarland University in Germany (since 2015), visiting professor at the University of Lausanne/Switzerland (since 2011).

Manjiao Chi is professor and founding director of Center for International Economic Law and Policy (CIELP), Law School of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing.

Sufian Jusoh is the Director and Professor of International Trade and Investment at the Institute of Malaysia and International Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Prabhash Ranjan is a Professor at the Jindal Global Law School, O. P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Delhi-NCR, India.
