This book nvestigats the Potential of Iran's Kaolin Deposits for Use as a Supplementary Cementitious Material in Cement," delves into the vast mineral wealth of Iran, examining 325 kaolin deposits across the country. The book offers an in-depth analysis of the geological, mineralogical, and geochemical characteristics of these deposits, highlighting their potential for use in the production of sustainable cements like geopolymers and LC3. Through detailed case studies, economic assessments, and environmental evaluations, this guide provides valuable insights into the industrial applications of kaolin as a supplementary cementitious material. Essential for geologists, engineers, and industry professionals, this book not only broadens the understanding of Iran's kaolin resources but also serves as a critical reference for advancing more sustainable practices in cement manufacturing.
