Prof. Sergio Gianesini  is a world renowned expert in the field of vascular surgery, phlebology and lymphology. He graduated in medicine with top honors from the University of Ferrara and then specialized in Emergency Surgery, where he is now holding a PhD in molecular vascular pahtophysiology and an associate professorship habilitation in cardio-vascular surgery, together with his status of adjunct Associate Professor in Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (Bethesda, USA). He is a licensed surgeon also in UAE and Switzerland. He is the recipient of 11 scientific awards. He servers as President of the World Union of International Phlebolymphology and he is the Emeritus President of the venous-lymphatic World International Network Foundation. He is honorary member of 7 international scientific societies. He is the leading author of the the Italian Vein-Lymphatic Good Clinical Practice Recommendations clinical governance 2025 document. He serves as associate-Editor of International Angiology Journal, of the Journal of Indonesian Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and of the Egyptian Vein Lymphatic Journal. He was coeditor of the Springer book Saphenous Vein-Sparing Strategies in Chronic Venous Disease,  author of chapters in 21 textbooks dedicated to vein-lymphatic topics. He is one of the authors of the 2023 Global Consensus Document on Sclerotherapy  and of the 2024 Guidelines for Management of Actual or Suspected Inadvertent intra-arterial Injection of Sclerosants. Prof. Gianesini is author of 102 scientific papers published in high-impact journals, and has been speaker at 702 international congresses, in 11 of them even as keynote speaker. He is the founder of the v-HELP humanitarian and educational international project and of the v-REGISTRY global real world data platform. 

Pro. Chi is an internationally recognized authority on venous and lymphatic disease, and is a Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Davis, Vascular Center. He is widely published in the field of venous and lymphatic disease with over 60 peer reviewed publications, 6 book chapters and lectures globally. He sits on the editorial board of Phlebology, Vascular Medicine, Veins and Lymphatic, Advanced Interventional Materials, the Chinese Medical Journal and is the Chinese Language Editor for International Angiology , the Associate Editor for Vascular Investigation and Therapy, and the Associate Editor for Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Research. As the Vice President of the Asian Pacific Angiology Academic Alliance, and the World Union of International Phlebolymphology,  Prof. Chi currently holds a H-Index of 19.
