This book is a translation of Luciano Cheles's monograph Iconografia della destra: La propaganda figurativa da Almirante a Meloni, published in English for the first time. It offers a groundbreaking exploration of the visual propaganda of the Italian far right, tracing its evolution from the post-fascist era to the rise of Giorgia Meloni. By examining a diverse array of materials—posters, membership cards, graffiti, and digital media—this volume uncovers the unique imagery and style that have characterized the far right's campaigns over decades. Through a visual studies approach, the book reveals the underlying ideals, values, and myths embedded in these artifacts, providing a comprehensive analysis of their overt and covert messages.
