This second volume explores the mechanisms and biochemical changes that have occurred in plants when exposed to an overdose of nanomaterials. The processes involved in the interaction of engineered nanomaterials (ENM) with plants are summarised in the chapters of this book. The physiological and molecular impacts on plant bioprocesses following exposure to various nanomaterials, using new technologies, are explored to gain a deeper understanding of plant nanotoxicology. The book consists of 15 peer-reviewed chapters, supplemented with 31 tables and 42 figures, all carefully designed to enhance the reader’s understanding and engagement. The chapters were contributed by 59 recognised researchers affiliated with reputable institutions from 12 countries. This book serves as a comprehensive guide for researchers, policymakers, and professionals striving for a sustainable future powered by nanotechnology. It is an essential reference source for advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students across various life science disciplines, serving as a bridge between the textbook and scientific literature, providing in-depth knowledge of phyto-nanotoxicology.

Dr Ramesh Namdeo Pudake is an Assistant Professor in Amity University Uttar Pradesh, one of the top-ranked private universities in India.
