Respiratory Emergencies: From Diagnosis to Treatment is a comprehensive guide that addresses the growing importance of respiratory emergencies, a leading cause of global morbidity and mortality. Based on the current scenario of new medical technologies, clinical evidence and the globalization of medical content, this book addresses the epidemiology, pathophysiology and management of respiratory emergencies, focusing on structured care protocols to improve patients' clinical outcomes. Despite the prevalence of respiratory symptoms in emergency rooms, many physicians still feel unprepared to deal with lung diseases. This work aims to fill this gap by providing a simplified but complete overview of all situations associated with lung-related medical emergencies. It is a valuable resource for both training doctors and specialists, covering conditions from the most prevalent to the rarest, seeking to simplify medicine. It will also appeal to medical students, general practitioners, and nurses.
